Valentines day

For Valentine's Day my sweetheart and I decided to take it easy. We wanted to do something simple but very meaningful. We both went on with our day, Chris worked and I took care of Timmy. And it was one of the most wonderful days I have Had in a long time. I Surprised my mom, sister, and husband with some gifts. I ordered some delicious cupcakes from a lady, Made some canvases made with baby footprints, And got some treats are for them. I have breakfast with my family, lunch with my in laws and then had a nice evening with my husband. My wonderful mom babysat Timothy while Chris and I went to the temple as soon as he got off work. I am so thankful I got to go on the sweet date with my husband. I needed this very much and it brought us closer together. After the temple we picked up Timothy and headed home. Chris and I made homemade steak, lobster, and potatoes. This is the best dinner we've ever made!

My last post was a little too strong for my taste. I don't like to focus on the bad but sometimes I need to be honest to myself. I need to take a step back and take it easy. I tend to take on too much and get overwhelmed more than I should. So to change the mood because it's Valentines Day this week I want to make a list of things that I have been loving lately.. FHE

I found the perfect lesson for tonight!! I thought I would share it because this is something I have been struggling with recently. I am not perfect and sometimes I do tend to get irritated very easily, specially if my son is getting into trouble and doesn't want to listen to me. I need to work on not getting so angry so easily and to be a better mom by being more and more patient. I specially need to work on not taking it out on Chris. Sometimes if we're having a bad unproductive day i tend to take it out on Chris once he gets home and he doesn't deserve that at all. I'm not an angry person, nor do I want to be around it but sometimes I feel tense and I am not being a nice person that I should be. Sometimes all I need is to take a deep breath and count to ten. SLOWLY. (I dont yell but i do tend to get frustrated and get a little mean and bossy) I need to remember that I am very blessed and I am loved. Most importantly I need to remember that those feelings aren't good and I need to pray to Heavenly Father for help. Have a great Monday!!! :) I know I will.

TAXES 2012

Being an adult is tough sometimes. At times I feel like there is so much to worry about and all I want to do is party, play, and go out! I don't like stressing about stuff that's no fun like cleaning, paying bills, and changing diapers! HA HA! I'm sort of kidding around but I'm not. Lately it's been a little harder because I'm a stay home with Timmy and Chris is off working his butt off so he can pay all the bills. I am extremely grateful for my love he always works sooooo hard to give us a good life. I wish I can help him out more and I try and do as much as I can. I do photography on the side which is nice when I get things here and there. One of my goals and plans for this year is to expand on my photography business and get more and more legit. I know its going to happen because I have the passion and drive for it. I just need to invest more time and money. With my husbands help I know we can accomplish anything we really want. The reasone I titled it taxes is because we already filed our taxes and we are so excited with the outcome. I'm excited that we get something back and we did our duty that every person in the Us has to do.!! HIp hip hoooooray. I know Im random but ya know thats why you like me ;) Photobucket

2013

It's been too long since I've blogged and I need to try and write about fun things we've been doing. My life is always crazy busy for the most part. I'm not just making this up i'm being very sincere and honest. ha ha.. Right now I am a stay home mom with a very active 10 month old baby- Timothy, and I watche my 8 month old niece 4 out of the 7 days a week. I love it and at the same time it's been the hardest job i've ever done. Some days are awesome, and we play, laugh and nap the day away, some days are not as blissful as i'd like them to be. But I offered to babysit my niece so I compromised myself in this position. I honestly don't want anyone else to watch my niece because I feel like I truly will love and watch her at the same time. I also like how Timothy is learning to play with another baby and he is going to be very close to his cousin. :) In a normal day with two babies I change about 8 or so diapers, and thats only for the time I have her. (She goes potty a lot more than my son). For the time being I don't work with my old boss, but someday maybe next year I will go back and work with her again. I love working and making money but at the same time I know I need to make my son my priority and take care of things at home even if that means sacrificing money and helping my boss. My family comes first to me and the rest follows. I truly have loved watching Timothy grow and taking care of him. He is such a cute little loveable boy. His personality is really starting to shine through. I can't believe he is going to be a year old in two months. I think I need to get going on planning his birthday party. I want to throw him a big fun birthday bash !!! We'll see though I have to figure out if it will even be worth the effort since he's only one and he won't remember it. (I honestly love an excuse to party!!!) I plan on being a better blogger this year and even though I'm trying to learn to keep up with Timothy I must try and blog at least once a week, even if it's a little update. I dont think I'll be a great blogger but I want to improve so that I can look back and be able to review my year with some highlights of our lives! Here's to a great year and to see what adventures this year will bring.
