My immune systems needs to step it up

I'VE BEEN HORRIBLY SICK TWICE IN A THREE MONTH PERIOD.

I never get this sick. I don't know if its because of nursery or the fact that I'm pregnant. I don't know but I sure don't like this feeling one bit. And it's not the throwing up sick but the cold, congested, sore throat sick.
I am a horrible sick person. Some people are good at it and relax and watch TV but Im not. I just get depressed and so bored.

That's why this weekend was horrible. I couldn't sleep, I kept tossing and turning and then I couldn't breathe beause of my throat. UGH! So frustrating and this happened on both Friday and Saturday night. By Sunday I was exhausted, grumpy and sad. I woke up in a bad mood because I want to feel better and I still didn't so that automatically made me cranky. I don't understand why I have to be sick so much because I have always had an awesome immune system and hardly ever got sick before this.

And at church we have our nursery callings so we can't call in whenever we really need to because we need to find subs in advance and our nursery leader is sick sometimes and goes out of town so that makes it rather more challenging. Being in nursery has its ups and downs. Luckily for us they called another lady this weekend to help us out so now it won't be as hard. So yesterday we made it to church on time :) and we had a pretty good class. My favorite little girl wasnt there so that was a downer, but oh well. YES I DID JUST SAY I HAVE A FAVORITE, it's not like they're my kids they're just our nursery kids. Ha ha. Once we got done with church I finished my big wedding pics and I gave the newlywed couple their discs. Then, we went and visited my parents and had some lunch. That's when things went a little downhill. I ate this yummy STEW and let me tell you it was so YUMMY! I don't know what happened but I had my first ( WARNING : IF YOURE EATING OR EASILY DISGUSTED IM SORRY JUST CLOSE THIS PAGE) incident with throwing up. EWWE in my parents bathroom, hey at least I made it to the toilet. Keep in mind that I am now in week 13 and should be done with morning sickness. I dont get it, but I do think it has to do with me being under the weather. I wasn't feeling good at all the entire day and I think I ate too fast, and the flem on the back on my throat was grossing me out. That's why I believe it has to do with all the yucky stuff I have in my throat. After that I tried to finish the rest of my soup very slowly and carefully and I felt so much better.
Sorry if that's a gross story but it's weird when I experience random things like that since it doesn't happen to me, ever- hardly ever.

Then, we went home and had to do some other pictures. YAY! Once I finally finished this pregnancy shoot I did I was able to relax. By that time I had a migrane, I was feeling like having another incident, my throat was hurting and very tired. Not a good combination for pregnant emotional person. I went to the room and just bawled my eyes out. I was so sad and I keep feeling so helpless. I feel like there's nothing I can do- since I can't really take medicine. I just want to have a good time but I feel like this trial of me being sick and tired is not as easy as I thought it'd be. Lucky for me I have a strong sweet husband such as Chris, who is always concerned for me and willing to do whatever it takes to make me feel better.

Chris held me close to him and just listened to me complain and let it all out. Then, he took care of me and helped me with anything that I needed or wanted. I could feel his love and that made me feel better. I am so thankful and I honestly couldn't have ended up with a more perfect man for me. We grow closer and closer when we turn to each other and the Lord when we have a hard time with something.

I must report that I feel so much better today, not a hundred percent but so much better.

Nursery got ROWDY

This past Sunday as we were in nursery it seriously felt like the longest two hours of my life. I haven't gotten it this bad ever. Being pregnant means you get annoyed with things so easily and it can be very frustrating. Let me draw you a picture.

I was tired, not feeling good, and on top of that hungry. The kids started out pretty good but there were these two kids that kept horsing around the entire time. No matter how much I told them to stop, and I was being very serious they kept going back to that behaviour. Our nursery leader even stepped in and put them in time out and that didn't help but like for two minutes. These two boys were very rambuctious, hyper, and it gave me a head ache. By the last thirty minutes I gave up caring and just let them play since nothing I was doing was working. Plus by the end of class i almost had zero energy left- I KID YOU NOt.
Driving home from church Chris asked are you okay? I said no, Im tired and not feeling good. So I changed to comfy clothes and went straight to a nap right after church. Slept for two entire hours, and I woke up very refreshed and energetic.

I know our calling was given to us for a reason but yesterday was just one of those days I just wasn't feeling good at all. I'm so glad other people help in nursery and its not just Chris and I. The rest of the Sunday evening was much better and Chris and I had a lovely evening. <3

Weekend this last.

No doubt about it we all love weekends. Specially me. I am working working school school study and then trying to see my wonderful husband is quite the rush. So on the weekends we get some amazing alone time and get to go on dates, take naps, and just relax for a couple minutes.
I think we can get all caught up in our lives and not get to see the beauty in the small and simple things. Although we still both had busy morning-afternoons, we had decided since early on that we would go on a date. :) We went to applebees and a enjoyed a much needed evening together. The only bad thing was we had to wait about a half hour and I was hungry, and we were sorrounded by the most annoying-high maintanence people I have ever been sorrounded by. It was quite the eventful night, very entertaining. We then went and saw some baby things at wal-mart and it was sooo cute!! I loved looking at all the cute baby things with Chris. It truly feels like a dream come true to be pregnant and look around for our future baby things. As of right now we havent bought many things but just a crib--- haha I know right?? But I can explain. We got it super cheap and couldnt pass this opportunity. We got it for a fifth of the price brand new! We are so happy and excited to get the nursery ready in the next coming months. I am already coming up with some very exciting and fun ideas.
Then after grocery shopping and such we came home to watch some TV and sleep!!! DId I mention I cant stay up past ten and I feel very sluggish all day. Its funny I never thought Id be this way but I guess something had to slow me down.

Sunday we went to church and it was uplifting. We made it early to church and you'd be proud. Lately we havent been too good on being prompt but we are going to make it our goal to be early to Sacrament every Sunday. We need to be the best we can be specially with this baby inside of me, we've got to be good examples and stay on our toes. May I add that our nursery class consisted of three amazing little ones. It was fun we played, we sang, we learned, we ate snacks, and we played dodgeball!! Ha ha . Perfect calling for Chris and I. During our nursery time we had these subs with us and they were lots of fun. Theyre a sweet cute couple and they shared some stories with us. They touched me and I wish I could help out others like them. I wont get into too much detail but they cant have babies & theyve been married for eight years.
And here I am almost married for a year and pregnant. LIfe is too good to be true sometimes. I know they'll be parents someday specially with heavenly fathers plan. I know that whatever happens I have heavenly father and an amazing family to support me. :) Life is good and although it's been a little hard for me I know I can do it and Ill get on my knees as much as I have to. I feel very blessed. I feel loved.

Life is too short to be upset or angry about. I will enjoy everything that comes my way and I will do the best I can to be a wonderful wife to Chris. He has been taking such good care of me. Our love has matured in so many ways with the past year and half that I've been with him.

I love him sooo much!

My favorite day is SUNDAY.

Hands down. The best day of the week is Sunday.

I love being able to just slow down for one day. It was given to us to rest. I love that.
Althought since this week has been pretty slow for week since I have an entire week off from work and school I've been a little bored. It's funny we complain when we're bored and when we're too busy. I guess we never really know how lucky we are until we're absent from it.

Here are some of my favorite reasons Sundays are the best:

1. No work, no worries.
2. No spending money- no shopping.
3. Family day- we sometimes have dinner with the in-laws or my family.
4. We can just sit back and relax.
5. Bake, cook, play games, nap, and get some "us" time.
6. Most of the time we arent rushed.
7. Refill our spiritual cup.
8. Get to teach our nursery kids.
9. Stay home most of the day.
10. We can go on walks, take pictures, visit friends or do anything as long as we keep the Sabbath holy.

That's why it's the best day of the week. We both don't work. We dedicate to the Lord and us. I look forward to this day because it keeps me sane. Sometimes my weeks go by so fast they become blury.
I am lovin our calling and our house more and more. I am thankful for every little good thing in our lives. I am also thankful for trials. Life is hard sometimes but if we endure to the end its worth it. Stay strong friends. Love you.

LOve you

Saturday Massage, oh baby!

I must tell you that if you've never gotten a professional massage i suggest you get one. It was AMAZING!
I decided for Chris and I's birthday I would do something different. Since I've never gotten a proffessional massage and Chris hasn't gotten one since he's been with me.
I was a little nervous since it was my very first time. I didnt know how it works ya know? SO we went in a five and it was an hour long for a couples massage and got an awesome deal.
The massage therapist was super nice to me and she was giving me tips about how I could help Chris with his bad back. :) I think I will go back someday but not for a little while because it's a luxury not a necessity. Maybe for our anniversary I will get us another massage.
What I liked a lot about this place was that it was close, very clean, and extremely professional. Although I you have to undress to just your underwear it wasn't weird because they cover you up with a soft blanket. I thought it would be sooo weird, and it wasnt.

If you've never gotten a professional massage I recommend it. After all we work work work to pay bill bill bills so why not put a little money aside and actually pamper yourself because you deserve it.
Im not going to lie right after I felt kind of bad spending money on that but then I thought we've never done this, so I think it was nice to finally spoil ourselves.

After the massage we were hungry since we hadn't ate dinner and we bought some delicious Mexican food, no not American-Mexican, we're talking about Authentic Mexican food! I loved it. <3
We had an awesome night. I am very thankful for my hard working husban and my relationship with him. Saturday was awesome.

Sunday Dinner

Was delicious. It was perfect and we had an awesome time.

After Chris and I watched "UNKNOWN" (which I highly recommend because it was very good movie and it kept me at the edge of my seat) We got dinner ready. We made some delicious home made fried chicken. It was our second time making it and it turned out excellent. Chris mainly was frying the chicken while I prepared everything else. We made some smashed potatoes, corn, salad- olive garden style, and lemon bars. Everything was so perfect. We were kind of rushing because we started a little later than we shoud've but my family was running fashionably late. HA HA, but then again it's very rare when they're on time. This was one of my favorite dinners we have ever made. Lucky for me my husband is so good at cooking and helping me out with everything. I am very gratefull for him and how wonderful and amazing he is towards me.
PS my family loved all the food and we hardly had any left overs. YAY! That's always a good sign when you make tons of food and its all gone by the end of the night.

Thank YOu Christopher! MUah xoxoxooxoxox

Weekend details

Friday- I was working all morning to finish editing these pictures that I had to turn into the couple that I photographed on their wedding day. I did their bridals, family temple pictures, more bridals, and their entire night of the wedding reception. It was lovely and I got many priceless photos that I'll be able to save for my future website someday. I am so happy with the finished product. I am going to post some of my favorite on my other blog. (perlamariapics.blogspot.com) I burned the cds and then put them in envelope. Next thing I know it is already 4 and I started getting ready for the gym. I went to TWO Zumbas, it was so much fun. I was pretty excited that my mom got to join me. My mom is seriously the COOLEST. I dont know many Moms that will go dancing with their daughter. She is so cute, we went to the house and she was showing the family her new dance moves. Ha ha She cracks me up. After eating some dinner I bought the family some Ice cream from Dairy Queen. It was fun!!! We had a good time with my mom, dad and sister. Being with all four of my family members is nice, I just wish my hubby was able to make it but he was working until 11pm. That pretty much sums up my day. It was a nice Friday and by the time my husband came home we both just watched TV for a little bit and then headed to bed.

Saturday- We woke up very early to go to help my parents with their yard sale at 5:30 am. WOW thats early considering Chris and I fell asleep around 1 or 2 AM. SO I was very sleepy. We were there helping them out and selling things and then I had to leave at nine and help out a friend with some work things and i didnt get done until 5. BUSY BUSY SATURDAY!!! Chris finished helping my mom and then he went off with he Rudd family. MY LOVE IS SOO FUNNY. When he was visiting my family and they decided to all get pedicures, with his sister & Mom. He is silly. I never thought I married someone who likes pedicures. ha ha I know have uglier toes than my husband. When I came home he told me about it and I was very shocked and a little sad because I havent gotten one in foreverrrrr so i was a bit jealous i was working while he was having a nice relaxing day. But after I expressed my jealousy Chris told me I would be happier after he gave me my birthday present. Then as we were getting ready he gives me this $30.00 gift certificate to a nail salon. WOW I felt like a jerk, after giving him a hard time for about half an hour he then hands me a gift card. WOOPS. But then I apologized and you know what Im only human. I make mistakes and I can be a bit bratty sometimes but I love Chris unconditionally even if he wants to get his pedicure. After we finished getting ready we went to my friend Ana's house to dinner. She made us some delicious lasagna and we had such a blast with our friends. We all got to catch up and socialize for a couple hours. We also played a fun game called something like URABN MYTH. It was so funny!!!!! We spent like three hours laughing our heads off. Then, by the time it was 10:15 we were getting so sleepy and decided it was best to go home. And that was all folks.

Sunday- was perfect. I love the Sabath day. It reminds me of what our purpose in life is and what truly makes us happy- church and family. That's all you need to be happy. We slept in a little bit and then got ready for church. We got to teach nursery with a very fun sub. Her name is Sister Griner, we loved her very much. She truly inspired me to be better. She prepared a very cute lesson to our kiddos and we had a very good class. We had a total of six kids yesterday. This is how we run nursery, or at least try to. For the first hour we straight up PLAY!!! It's so much fun we color, we build things, we play with cars, we play with babies, and we just run around and play with all the other kids. Then we all clean up, we have the children help us and they do a very good job. We usually pray before snacks, have a lesson, sing, and then we sometimes play with bubbles. Belive it or not two hours with 1 1/2 - 3 year olds flies!!! We have so much fun and we love our calling. We have been so blessed to have the calling that we have. I have learned so much more about Chris and I, and how we deal with children and all the different situations that come up. Yesterday I was told I will make a very good mother by Sister Griner and that just made my day. I hope she's right because I love children they light up my life. I am blessed to have all the people and friends in our life.
After we watched a very good movie :) very intense.

Love always

Lovin the weekends

Friday
was a success!!! We ordered pizza, I had salad all set up, some snacks and I even bought stuff for sundaes. I detailed the entire house so good. I was pretty dang proud of myself. Usually I make someone help me like my sister, or hubby. But this time it was all me. The house looked great, and I made sure I didn't miss a spot. The only things that stinks is that I forgot to take pictures of the night because I was so busy and time went by so fast I completely forgot. I was bummed because I would've loved to take pictures with some of my favorite girls ever. We had such an enjoyable time and got to eat and chit chat.
Lets back up a tiny bit, in between the cleaning and running errands I took my poor baby Mac to get neutered. I felt so bad for our puppy but it had to be done. I've never taken a dog to get something like this done, so I was pretty nervous for him. I kept wanting it for it to be time to pick him up. Im thinking that the my other two are next. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

So here's a pic of my baby Mac on the way to get neutered. Isn't he such a cutie? I sure think so.

The funny thing that happened to me on this day was that Mac was being such a bad boy on our way out. He was trying to run away and not listen to me. I was getting a little MAD, because I had to get ready for the girls night party and I was soo hot and annoyed. I felt like I would never get home, seriously took me about half an hour to get from the clinic to my car. HA ha . It was hilarious to watch im sure.

Saturday

I had a photo shoot super early so I had to be up and going at 7 am! ( the night before I was up soooo late so I was super sleepy and already for a nap by the time it was 10) So as I was getting ready I heard my husbands loud deisel truck. I automatically run outside to go greet my handsome hubby. * The reason why I was so excited was because he was out of town for almost three days. This was the first time that my husband has been away from me longer than a day. * I am very much in love with my husband and I have every right to show it to him alright, so dont hate. After seeing my handsome I went to the Temple and had an awesome time with my friend Ivette and her family. They were so adorable and were all matchy matchy. I loved it! It wasnt too warm once we got there but once we got going and moved around we felt it towards the end. I was so glad we finished before it got even toastier. Then I hurried back home so I could get some kisses and hugs from my baby. I loved seeing him. We had such a wonderful day together. We watched movies, we talked talked and talked, and then we got ready for a hot date. He took me to Cheesecake Factory and then we walked around Chandler Mall. It was a fun sweet night. We tried to play a game and ended up falling asleep very early. Gotta love the married life :)

Sunday

We got to sleep in and catch up on some sleep, watch the news, and watch a movie. In between we went to church of course and got to play with our adorable nursery kids. Every Sunday I love them more and more. We love our calling very much and we're very grateful for the oppourtunity we have to teach the babies. They keep us busy we play, sing, snack, and try to learn lessons.
Sunday night I got to play around with some more photography and I got some really good shots of the lightning. These are some of the best ones I captured.

I know that Im getting better and better at perfecting my photography skills and it feels so good.

After we went inside we ate some food and then we heard the rain pouring down. I have to say perfect time on our part. It was such a beautiful weekend and night. Chris and I are loving every moment of free time that we have together.

Five days off!

Yep thats right the last five days I've had off! It has been amazing. I love how much time I've been able to spend with my family. And most of all with my husband. It's so relaxing and I have loved trying to be productive as a house wife and all.

Heres the over view of what occured this weekend.

Thursday- I didnt plan on not working this day but thanks to the technical problems SRP was having most of the city of MESA didnt have electricity so therefore I didn't work. Which has its pros and cons. I was able to go visit my family and go swim in my parents pool. I worked out for two hours and had a blast. Finished and then went to Costco to get a surprise gift for my baby. :) I did lots on this day and it got way better once my husband got off later that night.

Friday- Went to work some more on the shed! I try and help Chris but im not very good at construction of any kind but I do what I can. Then I went swimming with one of my best friends Candice! We had fun and hung out for like an hour or two. Then, I went over to my friends to go take some photographs of her and I am going to post them real soon! We had a blast and I stayed and visited with them for a while. After that I started heading home, come to find out MY DOGS HAD GOTTEN OUT. So i was worried and i thought I had lost them for sure. Im happy to report that it didnt happen like that. My awesome roomate Courtney put them inside but I was still missing my puppy MAC, well then I leashed up Princessa and Buddy and we started looking for baby MAC. As soon as I started walking down the street (Keep in mind that it is now arou 10:45 Pm ) I am exhausted and worried. Then I started yelling his name and the neighbor had kept him for us ! What sweet neighbors we have. I was soo happy and relieved. Just for their act of kindness I went and bought them a 10$ wally card because of their good deed. I was super happy to know we live by good people.

Saturday- Went and stayed most of the day at the INLAWS :) Chris had to finish his project so I had to go and see how I could be of help. It is looking soo good and it's really close to being fninsihed. I also got to play with my adorable niece Zolie. She's so precious and is starting to talk so much more. It melts my heart when she says PERLA in her cute little voice. Shes so much fun, and I got to play with her for a couple hours. We got really dirty playing in the wet sand. Ha ha But at least we were entertained. At around 5 ish I left to go to my moms swim party! WOoo hoo she had a couple friends and their families over to party. SO right away I jumped in and cooled off. About a half an hour later my husband came to surprise me. I seriously thought he was going to be at his parents the rest of the day. (He had done that last weekend) Once I got out we had some BOMB MEXICAN tacos! Its called Birria and its one of my favorite foods of all time. We ate so much that we had to post pone our hot date. :( Kind of sad but we were both super tired and full. We watched some TV, cleaned up and got ready for bed. We ended up sleeping at around 10:30! lol I know thats way too early for a Saturday but we both needed it.

Sunday- Chris was not feeling too great after working again in the 120 degree weather for 12 hours. I can tell he's not used to it. MY poor baby. We made started preparing some delicious sweet pork for din din, and you know how that takes about 8 hours on the crock pot. We just hung out at the house and worked on a few things and then went and had left overs with my family. SOme bomb Birria taquitos. YUM! We went back home and relaxed. We saw tv and had a good family night. It was such a nice evening I had my husband next to me what else do I need?

MONDAY- FOURTH OF JULY!!!!!!!!!!!! I had a rough night sleeping. Sucked so bad. So when Chris left at around 445 am I was wide awake. I decided to do something to make me tired. So I went outside and started doing yard work. Half an hour out there and I was ready to go back inside. I had some yummy breakfast and then drifted off into a sleep finally. Woke up and the bestie- COURTNEY and I talked and hung out for a little bit. We bonded and then we decided we wanted to make some bannana bread. YUM! It was delicious. Then I was downloading music doing things around the house and next thing I know its about 130. Chris called me to tell me he was getting off a little early so I went and started getting ready. As soon as he got home we had lunch and went to .. Yup you guessed it- to work on the shed. LOL It was hot but it feels so good that it's so close to being done. I promise you'll see the almost finished product sometime this week. We left about six to go to my parents house :) We had some delicious mexican food for dinner to celebrate the Fourth. Ha ha .. Truth be told Im not a big fan of hamburgers and hot dogs. I mean I dont hate it but its not my favorite. We swam first and it was awesome! Just my hubby and I went in the pool and got to relax. The rest of the night consisted of good times. We bought tons of fireworks and we fired them away. It was sweeeettt! Ive never shot off so many fireworks. Then we ran out and everyone pitched in for us to buy some more. We met up with my inlaws so we could do the fireworks with them. It was lots of fun and I must say this was one of the greatest 4th of Julys that I've ever had.

Hope yours was awesome too!

Weekend funtivities

Saturday.
As I have previously mentioned my husband is currently working on a huge project. He is making a huge 12x12 shed and its about 8 feet tall, or maybe taller? I couldn't be any prouder of him. He has put so much time and effort into it. On top of that he is still working almost 50 hour weeks and then when he gets off or before work he tries to work on the shed. He started building it on Saturday and unfortunately I had a freak accident to hurt my foot and I couldnt help out. I still tried to make sure my babe had enough water to keep himself hydrated throughout the entire day. That's all I could do because I've been limping around with a bruised foot. It's pretty funny but I just want my foot to be back to normal so I can run on it again.

Thats what took up most of our Saturday, we got to visit and hang out at the in-laws house. We had lunch and I tried helping a little with their reorginazing that they were doing in the house. I wasn't much help because I was in and out. I had to go meet with a girl about photography, give my painter friend a ride, get stuff at the store, and just errands of that type. Next thing I know it's almost 6 and we're sitting down watching TV with Mama Sharon and Mandi(Sis-in-law) We got to visit and talk about some pretty interesting stories. I had a blast being with them. They are so easy to talk to and for me to get along with. After hanging out with my in-laws I went to my parents so that I could visit with them while Chris had to finish doing some things and clean up.
Once I got to my parents everyone in the house was watching the soccer game MEXICO vs. USA. So of course I had to sit down and watch it with them. It was an awesome game, Mexico won and it was so much fun to watch. After the game we called some family from Mexico. The rest of the night I spent it SWIMMING next to my family. It was the perfect weather to swim in, and the wate was at the perfect temperature. I had a blast. BY the time we got out we were exhausted and went home so that we could go straight to bed.

Sunday.
My poor hubby wasnt feeling too great, I guess 13 hours in the hot sun didnt do hi body good. So I made sure and gave him a good massage and take care of him. Next thing we know we had to get ready for church. We were late but the most important part was that we made it to nursery because no one else that serves with us was able to help us. Luckily we have awesome kids in the nursery that are good to us. I absolutely love our calling. It's so much fun. Let's put it this way, Chris and I get to play for 2 hours on Sunday. We have play time, singing time, lesson, snack time, bubble time, and then we get to return our kids back to their parents. It's the best calling I've ever had. I am thankful for how smart, and sweet children are. They teach me more than we could ever teach them.
After church we made lunch, and took one of the hottest naps I've ever had. LOL but it was nice and then we made some delicious Ribs for my family for dinner. The dinner was a huge hit and we almost ate everything we made. The rest of the evening we got to visit, play games, and watch movies.

My weekend was perfect. It was very busy but I had a lot of fun. We are always doing fun things and constantly serving others. I am excited for next weekend even though it's only Wednesday. Can you believe it's been a year since Chris asked me to marry him? Well that's what we'll be celebrating this weekend. We are thinking of going to Cheesacake factory or Red Lobster.. Hmmm where should we go??
Im soooooo happy :D

He is always my hot date

One of my favorite things about being married is having someone to be by my side whenever we go anywhere. It's so much fun! We go on date, receptions, temple, out on a walk, grocery shopping, out to parties, and so on. He is so sweet to go along with most of my plans. In return I always try and be helpful and supportive of Chris. Here are some pictures of us on an average Saturday. We start out by getting ready, driving there, having a great time, socializing, and then we finish up by watching a movie and relaxing. Those are my favorite kind of days. The days where we spend the entire day together. We had so much fun specially when we went to Josh and Elbas reception. Chris actually danced with me - to Spanish music . I was soo happy he actually did it. Arent we cute?

Canyon Creek success

We had a blast! I will have pictures to prove it very soon. We went up Friday and made it there around 2 PM, as soon as we got up there we took Buddy out and tied him up. Then we started to say hi to everyone and hang out. It was so beautiful up there. The weather was at the perfect 70s most of the time and nature was at its finest.

We had more people go up than last year which made it more fun. Friday night we met my family in Payson to help them arrive to our camping spot. It took a really long time for us to meet them and then come back but once we made it back to camp it was such a relief. We helped set up the tent and then sat around the fire. My mom, sister, Juan as long as Chris got to hang out together quite a bit. I wasnt feeling very great so I headed to bed the earliest since I took a Nyquill. Once I took over the bed I can remember Chris saying "Babe wake up... baby turn around." I was facing the wrong way and totally all over the bed. I crashed out! The next day we went in a big group so that everyone who had poles could go fishing. We just went along for the nice walk and so we could play with the water. I was walking with Buddy and my family, while watching Chris and Cooper fish. We ended up staying for almost an hour or two. Then we came back and made lunch and played some games. The rest of the day was pretty relaxing. O and one more fun activity for the day, we went target shooting with my family. I was so proud of myself. Ha ha I finally got brave enough to shoot a 9mil. I was so afraid to do it but I finally did. We went out where we could shoot about 20 or 30 minutes away from camp. We went back to camp and we hung out for a little and then everyone was picking stuff up and packing. (The people that had to leave on Saturday packed up early.) Then we said goodbye and started working on dinner. I have to admit we had the best dinner ever. We had salad, steak, corn on the cob, and potatoes. It was the best dinner I've had in a very long time. I feel like we got to bond so much with my In-laws. I learned so much about my family. It was amazing. Oh and we also went spot lighting, i loved it! We were successful and spotter deer- so that made me happy. Once we got back we talked for a little and then went to bed. Sunday we woke up made breakfast the boys went out doing man things and the rest of us started getting ready to leave. We cleaned, packed up, and got everything together. I also had to take Buddy one more time to the Creek. He was so cute, he loved playing in the water and was so good to the little kids. I was happy we took him, now I know that we could handle him if we take him again. He is such a good active fun dog. He hardly bothered us, and the only thing I could complaing about was how much he stunk when the skunk sprayed him Saturday night- ewwwwwww.

It was so much fun. I love the woods and camping. Im thinking next time we'll take the trailer just him and I ; and then another time I'd like to get a group of friends to go up. I want to go camping at least two more times this summer.

Oh and did I mention we are getting our boat fixed sometime this week.. Yup that's right we are going to be taking a lot of lake trips this summer so let me know if you'd like to be a part of the fun .
Pictures coming soon.

Four day weekend. YES!

I am kind of sad that my four day weekend came to and end today. BOOO!!! I feel like it got off to a very slow start and then it was over in a flash. It started off super slow because I was sick all day Friday, but anyways here is an overview of our wonderful weekend with the Rudds :)

Friday- I got to stay home all day and relax. Do you know how often this happens? Hardly ever. The reason why I couldnt go anywhere was because I wasn't even well enough to drive after I was at my parents celebrating my sisters graduation. I asked Chris to pick me up from my parents so I wouldn't have to drive. So that's how I was left carless all day!! I got to sleep in, play with the doggies, watch movies, edit pictures, relax, and visit with our roomate. It was a very relaxing day, so relaxing it got a little boring for me. Then, after 10 grusome hours of not seeing my baby I finally saw him and we got to watch a little TV and headed off to bed.

Saturday- We got up pretty early to meet Ali & Andrew to take some cute pictures of them. We had so much fun with them down at Tempe Town Lake- ( which by the way I am still working on the pictures but I should be done with them soon.) I WAS SO EXCITED that my hubby was able to go with me because it makes me feel so good when I have him by my side. It makes me so happy and proud to have him by my side. Another great thing about taking him was that I made him take a couple pictures with me - courtesy of the fabulous Ali Bowler! I was so happy and although the weather is getting a little warm we managed to survive the photo shoot. I'm so excited to give her the pictures because they turned out super cute. After that we went and got Burritos and then went grocery shopping. Chris and I saved tons of money by shopping with coupons and looking out for good sales and watched the price drop from $160 to $50. I dont know about you but that makes me feel good about our shopping. Then, my hubby and I took a NICE LITTLE NAP. Ha ha we both have been having a rough week so we got to just relax for a few hours- which I was kind of hesitant to because I wanted to go swimming and do lots of things since I finally got my energy back. But my hubby insisted that we just relax because he was very tired. Ha ha he cracks me up sometimes because he's little my little boy. LOL and I mean that in the nicest way I really do. After we woke up we watched a movie and then started getting ready so that we could go to our friends receptions. One was Gator & Heather and the other was Elba & Josh. We only stopped by Gators for a little since theirs was almost over, and we stayed like three hours at Josh's. And it was sooooo much fun. They had great music, food, and people. You can't go wrong when you have all three. Another great thing happened on this night. My hubby danced with me to a couple songs !!! It was so nice to finally dance with him again besides our wedding night. Finally, after the wedding we got to go home and sleep.

Sunday- I brought my husband breakfast in bed. I know arent I so romantic. Hahaha then I had to start getting ready for church and go do our calling. It was a nice church day because we only had four children in nursery. It was quiet and time went a little bit slower than usual. Chris tried teaching the lesson but the little ones kept getting distracted and running around so we just showed them pictures and talked about the temple. It was cute. I love our little kids and I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful calling to be able to teach these young spirits. We did some singing as well since our singing lady hardly ever comes :( and I realized I really need to learn the primary songs so I can sing it to them. Then, we left church and we pretty much got to relax and chill for the rest of the day.

Monday- The husband worked :( so I had to keep myself busy while I was away from him. I went to Zumba tone in the morning and then went to Ross to look around. I couldn't find anything cute and that made me kind of sad because I just wanted one cute shirt or dress. Then, I went to a friends house because she invited me to a bbq pool party. I had a lot of fun with my friends and I got to go in the water for a little. I also got to hold my friends baby and splash and play with her. It was a good time. After that I headed home to see my love. We then decided to go over to my parents because they invited us to a carne asada pool party! Yes I love to go swimming specially on hot summer days. We had a good time and ate some delicious food. We got to catch up with my parents and relax. We left a little early so that Chris could go to bed on time since he has to get up really early on Monday and Tuesday. And you can ask Chris I am so bad at going to bed on time. HA HA sorrryy! I just love to stay up late and going swimming yesterday actually ended up going in Chris favor because I crashed out on the couch around nine and then we went to bed since we were both exhausted.

Yup we had a good weekend. We had a lot of fun activities and got to see a lot of each other. Life is good right now!
I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend because we sure did.

A surprise visit in April

Going out to dinner at Parilla Suiza with some friends
and then hitting up Dave & Busters is always going to
equal a really good time.
Also, one of my friends from Mexico came to visit us for
a week in April and we got to hang out with her a couple
times and I was so thankful I got to see her again because
it had been around 8 months since I last saw her.
She's soo shy but tons of fun.
Her name is Martha Zuzuki :)
Thanks for the good times girly.
She made up for not being able to attend my wedding reception.

We also got to take her to a good ol American Diamondbacks game,
& we won the Phillies!!!

Windcaves in April

This is a little outdated but I wanted to put the pictures up
on my blog. Last month a couple friends and us decided to hike
the wind caves. We decided to bring Buddy. Luckily I didn't have
to hold his leash because let me tell you he's such a heavy strong
dog.
Buddy did really well for his first time, but it was so much work.
He would go crazy every time he saw another dog. Not to mention he
sat on my lap on the way over to the hike so I was full of hair by
the time we had gotten there---GROSS!!
Anyways enjoy the pictures I think they turned out pretty cute.
