Almost half-way

Hello there.
Can you believe it's almost June??
Dang it, and I've only blogged seven times!!!
Woops so much for my goal of trying to be better at blogging.
I failed.

Oh well guess I will make up for it in the 6 1/2 months I have
left. So if I blow up your blog newsfeed, I'm sorry. Not really ; )
Anyways I am in a typing/writing mood. I could be sleeping but I can't
right now. It stinks because I get insomnia in the most inconvenient times.

I guess I will update you on life.

 {Let's see it's getting so hot it makes it hard to even want to go
 outside, (unless you're swimming that is)}

{I am loving being a stay home mom}

{I am falling more and more in love with my husband even
though I didn't think it was possible}

{I am still doing photography and it's a nice money maker,
and it keeps me busy editing pictures, and improving my skills}

{Timothy is no longer a baby, he's a big boy!}

{We have been having a great 2013}

{Getting excited for swim season and this summer}

{I am getting over a hard time I've been having that
absolutely sucks, let's just say midol and chocolate
have been my best friends}

{I HATE THAT TIME OF THE MONTH}

{I notice how much of a baby and a whimp I can be}

{Date nights have been life-savers}

{The Gospel has kept me sane, and positive through anything
and everything}

{Our first date 3rd year anniversary is this month!}

{Time is going too fast}

{Taking pictures of the babies and weddings have
been my favorite right now}

{I know I'm random, but that's why you love me!}

{I need to post more. THE END}

(How cute is our family picture that we took in March?)

Love ya!

can you feel the love?

My last post was a little too strong for my taste. I don't like to focus on the bad but sometimes I need to be honest to myself. I need to take a step back and take it easy. I tend to take on too much and get overwhelmed more than I should. So to change the mood because it's Valentines Day this week I want to make a list of things that I have been loving lately.. And of course I will post some lovey dovey pictures of my hubby and I <3 1. I love that I am getting better at the routines I need to to do with my son. 2. I love that we have been cooking more at home more . 3. I love that for Valentine's Day we got a zoo membership. 4. I love my husband more than ever right now! 5. I love my sons cute little personality coming out more and more everyday. 6. I love that I am getting more and more photography gigs. 7. I love that we are getting better at building better habits. 8. I love my family so much! 9. I love that my house is completely silent because both babies are napping. 10. I love the weather today it has been amazing!!! 11. I love my mom with all my heart, she is always there for us and is always willing to babysit. 12. I love Timothy and Chris 13. I love that it's love week all week! 14. I love that I am able to stay home with the babies. 15. I love the rainy weather. 16. I love that Easter is next month, 17. I love photography so much! 18. I love my family more and more every day. 19. I love my ward and neighborhood. 20. I love my Saviour and the gospel. I am so excited for Valentines Day, we are trying to plan something fun and exciting. I will share later what it is if all goes well. I don't want to write about all the things that I think will happen but instead I will blog it once it happens. :) I hope you have a loveable week with your loved ones and dont forget to share the love! love always, Photobucket

FHE

I found the perfect lesson for tonight!! I thought I would share it because this is something I have been struggling with recently. I am not perfect and sometimes I do tend to get irritated very easily, specially if my son is getting into trouble and doesn't want to listen to me. I need to work on not getting so angry so easily and to be a better mom by being more and more patient. I specially need to work on not taking it out on Chris. Sometimes if we're having a bad unproductive day i tend to take it out on Chris once he gets home and he doesn't deserve that at all. I'm not an angry person, nor do I want to be around it but sometimes I feel tense and I am not being a nice person that I should be. Sometimes all I need is to take a deep breath and count to ten. SLOWLY. (I dont yell but i do tend to get frustrated and get a little mean and bossy) I need to remember that I am very blessed and I am loved. Most importantly I need to remember that those feelings aren't good and I need to pray to Heavenly Father for help. Have a great Monday!!! :) I know I will.

2013

It's been too long since I've blogged and I need to try and write about fun things we've been doing. My life is always crazy busy for the most part. I'm not just making this up i'm being very sincere and honest. ha ha.. Right now I am a stay home mom with a very active 10 month old baby- Timothy, and I watche my 8 month old niece 4 out of the 7 days a week. I love it and at the same time it's been the hardest job i've ever done. Some days are awesome, and we play, laugh and nap the day away, some days are not as blissful as i'd like them to be. But I offered to babysit my niece so I compromised myself in this position. I honestly don't want anyone else to watch my niece because I feel like I truly will love and watch her at the same time. I also like how Timothy is learning to play with another baby and he is going to be very close to his cousin. :) In a normal day with two babies I change about 8 or so diapers, and thats only for the time I have her. (She goes potty a lot more than my son). For the time being I don't work with my old boss, but someday maybe next year I will go back and work with her again. I love working and making money but at the same time I know I need to make my son my priority and take care of things at home even if that means sacrificing money and helping my boss. My family comes first to me and the rest follows. I truly have loved watching Timothy grow and taking care of him. He is such a cute little loveable boy. His personality is really starting to shine through. I can't believe he is going to be a year old in two months. I think I need to get going on planning his birthday party. I want to throw him a big fun birthday bash !!! We'll see though I have to figure out if it will even be worth the effort since he's only one and he won't remember it. (I honestly love an excuse to party!!!) I plan on being a better blogger this year and even though I'm trying to learn to keep up with Timothy I must try and blog at least once a week, even if it's a little update. I dont think I'll be a great blogger but I want to improve so that I can look back and be able to review my year with some highlights of our lives! Here's to a great year and to see what adventures this year will bring.

Grandma Rudd

I was so happy that I was able to meet such a special woman, who has a beautiful family. I am so thankful for her raising such a beautiful and strong family. She's truly a beautiful person. Even though I didn't know her for that long I could tell she was an amazing woman. Chris would tell me really nice stories about her, and it made me realize that she truly was an inspirational woman.
I know she's in a much better place with her husband.
Chris is so adorable he told me the other day that next time she sees me she'll be able to recognize me and for this reason I am thrilled about the next time I see her. (She had Alzheimer's so she never really remembered me)

Unfortunately this woman of such wisdom and pureness passed away this past Monday. RIP Grandma Rudd, I am very happy I had the opportunity to meet her.

Im thankful for the gospel & more

I had a wonderful Thanksgiving last week. My husband and I were both off and we got the entire weekend to relax and see each other all the time. I'm so happy he got Thursday and Friday so we could spend lots of time with our family. On Thanksgiving morning Chris played football and I stayed home and slept in. I also picked up the house and did some cleaning. By the time Chris made it home we got ready for dinner at 1pm, (now dinner at one is a bit early for me specially since I'm Mexican and we're used to eating at 7 or 8 ish.) But we got there at around noon to help set up and by lending extra hands.
FOOD WAS SO GOOD. I loved the Turkey and mashed potatoes, then for dessert I had some homemade apple pie. It was a perfect afternoon with my Rudd family. They were even nice enough to let my small family come- my dad and sister.(MOm was working :( )
We were there until about six or seven and then we went to my parents and had dinner number two.

My nephew Malcom is going to be born any day and Im so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We keep praying for his safe arrival and I want Malcom to know that I want to hold him and take tons of pictures of him real soon. So please hurry so we can shower you with our love and hold you.

I love babies and I love my family even more. I can remember the day that my sister-in-law Mandi told us that she was pregnant with a second baby. A special mother

My mom is so special to me and I love her very much. I would like to put her on the spot light and wish he a very happy birthday because she deserves it. I am so blessed to have her in my life. I want to be just like her when Im older. I want to cook, clean and work like her. I have never met a woman stronger and more beautiful than my mom. She truly is a great example of how women should be. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM you are the world's greatest mom, friend and example to me.
I know you will be a great grandmother.
